Childcare at the Happy Club from age 3
At the Engel, children have space for adventure, creativity and new friendships – while parents enjoy precious time for themselves.
- Happy Club – Professional and caring childcare from age 3, with at least 60 hours per week
- Activity programme – Varied indoor and outdoor activities, creative games and nature experiences
- Experiences – Seasonal children’s programmes with excursions and activities around the hotel

Babies & toddlers from 6 to 36 months
To make your first holiday with a baby or toddler in South Tyrol feel relaxed from the very beginning, the Engel provides high-quality equipment and caring childcare.
- Baby care – Care for children aged 6 to 36 months, with at least 24 hours per week during our Baby Weeks, from Monday to Saturday
- Private babysitter – On request, we are happy to arrange a private babysitter at any time for €15 per hour
- Baby food – A selection of organic HiPP baby food jars and freshly prepared baby meals on request
- Premium rental – Bugaboo® pushchairs, Thule® sports strollers, child carrier backpacks and baby carriers
- In-room equipment – Baby cots and children’s beds, bed guards, changing mat, nappy bin, bottle warmer and kettle

Teens & Youngstars Youth Club from age 11
Teenagers need their own space on holiday. The Youngstars Youth Club is the place to chill, game and meet new friends.
Youth Club – A modern space just for teens from age 11, with iWall Interactive Gaming, Pac-Man Arcade, interactive gaming tables, billiards, air hockey and table football for fun tournaments together
During the summer holidays, from 1 July to 1 September, teens can look forward to a varied programme at the Engel with at least 30 supervised hours per week.
The programme includes, among other activities:
- Bikes & Trails – Bike technique training with rides on the Carezza Trail
- Outdoor adventures – Rafting and guided experiences in the Dolomites
- Sport & Fun – Bowling, climbing and pool parties with alcohol-free mocktails
- Cuisine – Cooking classes together
Nature, summer & winter
Summer, nature & active holidays in Carezza
The Dolomites begin right outside the Engel. Whether hiking, biking or tennis – here, movement becomes a natural part of your holiday, without the need for long planning.
Included:
- Guiding – Guided hikes and outdoor activities in the Dolomites
- Bike holidays – Mountain bike rental for adults and children in summer, e-bikes available for a fee
- Tennis – Use of the hotel’s own tennis court, including racket and ball rental
- Fun court – Multi-purpose court for football and basketball, as well as table tennis in the hotel garden
- Tour advice – Personal tips for hikes, excursions and activities in the Eggental valley
Winter, skiing & snow in the Eggental valley
In winter, family holidays in the Dolomites become wonderfully uncomplicated – with practical services for snow, skiing and easy mobility.

- Ski bus directly from the hotel – Every 30 minutes, the ski bus departs directly from the hotel to the Welschnofen/Carezza gondola lift, just 800 metres away
- Free ski bus to Obereggen – Convenient connection to the Obereggen ski area
- Ski course accompaniment – Reliable accompaniment for your children to group ski courses at Naniland
- Ski room – Secure ski room in the hotel with integrated ski boot dryer for warm feet
- Winter guiding – Guided snowshoe hikes and ski excursions according to the weekly programme
